Matt I once rowed a boat into the middle of a lake at night. As I hovered over the deepest point of the lake, I swear I heard this very music. It turned out to be some people partying on shore. It appears that Van Halen's "Jump" played through cheap speakers and heard over an expanse of water sounds exactly this. I'm very pleased to rediscover those sounds. They bring back memories I don't recall having.

this album is loved so dearly. reminds me of what i loved about moondog, a vibe that is so seldomly found in music. not to say this is “like moondog” either, bc it is entirely it’s own thing. i listen to this album by accident three times often, before i realize it ended. thank you so much for this. my spirit needed it. js
